Ricky Jordan is the General Manager of Fifth Gear Automotive. Throughout his 22-year career, he has worn many hats in the industry. From lot porter, technician, to sales, he has done it all.
His father, Rick Jordan, is an experienced Porsche mechanic. Over 15 years ago, Rick co-founded Fifth Gear with business partner Bill Bernick. Ricky joined the family business in a sales role as one of their first employees. He has served as the General Manager for the last 10 years while raising his own family in the Lewisville area.
Ricky’s influence helps bring the best out of team members. He works every day to keep the team up to speed on the 5 Gears That Drive Our Culture. The unique lessons learned in his seasoned career are now new standards for his team. Keeping a positive culture is the constant curriculum at Fifth Gear Automotive.
The 11-bay facility is home to 21 employees and specializes in European repairs. Fifth Gear, for the last 5 years in a row, is an ATI (Automotive Training Institute) Top 12 Shop + 2019 Best of Denton County Winner + Ratchet+Wrench Best Workplaces Winner. Ricky maintains a Center of Creative Leadership (CCL) certification to this day. Down the road (12 mi.) from the original shop, Ricky is working to get Fifth Gear’s second location (Argyle) up and running.
