Don’t wait until your Battery Dies!

Your car battery is essential to the proper functioning of your vehicle. If it’s not working properly, your car may not start, or it may stall and die while you’re driving. It’s easy to take your car battery for granted. After all, it’s not something that you have to think about very often. But when it does go bad, it can be a real pain.

There are a few telltale signs that your car battery is on its last legs. If you notice any of them, it’s time to start shopping for a new one. The most obvious is if your car won’t start. If you turn the key and nothing happens, or if the engine starts but dies immediately, your battery may be dead. Or, if it takes longer than usual for your engine to turn over when you try to start your car, that’s a sign that your battery is losing its power.

Another sign is dimming headlights. If your headlights seem less bright than usual, it could be a sign that your battery is losing power. Moreover, even if you don’t notice any of the other signs on this list, it’s a good idea to replace your battery every three years or so just to be safe. Batteries don’t last forever, and they’re relatively inexpensive to replace.
