We took the time to sit down and talk with Adam a little bit. Remember, to read the interviewer’s questions in Morgan Freeman’s voice.

So Adam, what was your first job?

I worked as a Ranch Manager. My primary job was to make sure the chickens got back in their coop. They were so fast though. I chased them all over the farm. Remember the part in Rocky when he is chasing the chickens to train….well, that was me.

So Adam, often people want to know who is the smartest person you know, besides Sean the marketing manager, of course?

Ha, great question. Sean is definitely an intelligent man. However, if I really had to pick, I think I would pick Matt Higgs my Service Manager. Matt has really inspired me to be the best I can be in our industry. His daily training and pep talks really have pushed me to be the best. Thank you Matt for always going above and beyond for me!

That’s great to hear Adam, moving on. What is your favorite holiday and why?

Easy, it’s Christmas. I’m a firm believer that Santa will start coming again. I’m just flabbergasted he hasn’t found my new place since I moved out of Tyler.

Very good. So Adam, where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I’m happy you asked that. I can see myself managing my own automotive business. My first hire will be Jeff Smith. Customer service is big to Jeff and I think he will be a great foundation to start with.

Very awesome Adam, now to more important questions. If there was a nuclear fallout, who at Fifth Gear Automotive would you team up with to survive?

Easy, Matt Higgs. Have you met him? That guy will figure out how to survive. Even his truck is so far off the ground the zombies wouldn’t be able to touch us.

That is a very good point. So what if you were a ghost, who would you haunt?

I think it’s best to say that I would haunt Chris and Nick. Only because they deserve it.

Uh-huh, I guess there is more to that story. However, let’s talk about music. What is your favorite type of music?

Well even though I’m young, I like to dabble in the ’80s and ’70s. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll totally rock out to some Kane Brown, but that Frankie Valli gets me every time.

Good stuff, Adam. How about sports, do you have a favorite team?

I actually love the Dallas Cowboys. Mostly because they are America’s team. If you don’t like the Cowboys, you don’t like America. Logic.

Very True. The Cowboys are the best, totally going to win the Super Bowl this year. Moving forward, if you were at the swimming pool, would you do a Cannon Ball or a Jack Knife?

Great question. Lately, I have been working on my Southern Shaolin Kung Fu. As you know, Southern Shaolin Kung Fu focuses on short moves, so I would probably practice diving into the pool with the smallest…. splash….. possible.

Gotcha. If you could talk to any animal, which one would it be?

Well, I actually do talk to my dog. Just last night we had a conversation about squirrels. Ha, he’s a funny character.

That’s great Adam. Happy you got that type of relationship with your dog. Moving back to Fifth Gear Automotive, who is your favorite Service Advisor to work with?

Easy. Jeff Smith. Jeff teaches me things about life and the world that I truly believe will be beneficial to me. Jeff has a way of seeing the world from a perspective that I believe will help me in life if I ever find myself in a crunch. I actually would consider him, my role model.

Thank you, Adam, you have been great. We all appreciate you taking the time to teach us more about yourself!
