Get to know our Service Advisor, Ceasar!

Ceasar is a Service Advisor for our Fifth Gear Automotive shop in Lewisville, Texas. Since the moment Ceasar has joined the team he has been a workhorse in going above and beyond to not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Today we wanted to take a moment to introduce him to all our Fifth Gear Automotive family!

We took the time to sit down and talk with Ceasar a little bit. Remember, to read the interviewer’s questions in Morgan Freeman’s voice.

Ceasar, let’s get to know a little more about you. We’ll start simple. What’s your favorite genre of music?

My entire life I looked up to singers like Luke Bryan and Eric Church. I even went out and got myself a straw cowboy hat so I could fully embrace the lifestyle. So I would have to say that country is my genre of music for life!

That’s really great Ceasar. Let’s get a little deeper. What is your spirit animal and why?

Completely, the Phoenix. I feel like I was reborn in the automotive world when I came to Fifth Gear Automotive.

That was definitely deep. Next question, if you can only pick one colleague to take on a trip with to Cancun, who would you take and why?

Definitely young Adam, the rest of the guys here look like they would be in bed by 9 pm.

Adam is definitely a great guy to hang out with. What about the rest of the service advisors, any of them becoming favorite teammates of yours?

Honestly, all the guys. I have never been a part of a team like this before. They accepted me right away and made me feel welcomed. It’s been a breath of fresh air to be here.

That is great, and we are lucky to have you on board with us. However, let’s say you were a ghost. What and where would you spend all day haunting?

Interesting, I often think about that. Just last night I was telling my girlfriend that if I was a ghost I would haunt the candy aisle at the grocery store. When I was a kid I would “sample” the goods so I feel like that would be a great place to scare people!

I see….you think about that question often? Gotcha. Let’s talk food. If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life what would it be?

Definitely Tacos. Everyone loves Tacos. Sometimes during the day when I get down or exhausted, I just remind myself that in a few hours I will have Tacos again. That always cheers me up.

Tacos are great Ceasar! We’re happy you got that happy thought to go to. Moving on to the next question, what in your life makes you feel old?

Waking up in the morning and having to walk about 10 feet before all my bones stop popping. That and realizing my favorite show, Friends, was canceled 15 years ago.

What about sports, any favorite teams?

Any and all Dallas teams! Baseball to me is still the best all-around sport. Love my Rangers! I’m confident we will win the world series next year.

So how about cannonballs or jack knife’s when it comes to pool time?

My goodness, what an amazing question. Just last night I was at my aunts’ inflatable swimming hole working on my cannonballs! Sadly, this body doesn’t bend like a jackknife anymore. Well while over there I discovered a new jump. Well, more of a dive, but the pike dive with a couple of twists should do the job! I also discovered there is a dive club in the area that I might have to join up with!

Very awesome, Ceasar! Moving forward, if there was a time in history you could have lived in, when would it be?

Definitely the 1800’s and the wild wild west! I was watching the Wild Wild West with Will Smith last week and really felt compelled to go horseback riding. I really think I would of made an excellent sheriff. I think this weekend I may hit up electric cowboy!

Gotcha. If you could talk to any animal, which one would it be?

Well, I actually do talk to my dogs, Maximus and Skyy. Skyy told me this weekend that she isn’t a fan of the cat (Richard). I explained to her that in life we sometimes have to tolerate things we do not like. She wasn’t hearing it.

That’s great Ceasar. Happy you got that type of relationship with your dogs…and cat.

Last question, if you had to give Adam, the young service advisor here at Fifth Gear Automotive some wise advice for his future, what would you say?

I would tell him 3 important generic facts that can help him as he moves forward in life.

  1. Grow some facial hair. If it suits you, keep it, if it doesn’t, shave it off.
  2. Find a mentor. Find someone who inspires you and whose advice you can use to become the person you want to be. I recommend Tim or Jeff.
  3. Deodorize. But not too much. Life is not an Axe commercial.

Those three are definitely some key pieces to becoming successful in life for anyone. Well, Ceasar we truly appreciate you sitting down with us and giving us a chance to know a little more about yourself. Thank you!

Ceasar
