Tim Simpson is a Service Advisor for our Fifth Gear Automotive shop in Lewisville, Texas.
He has worked in the industry for 22 years and has been with our Fifth Gear family for a little over 2 years.
Tim, originally from Falconer, New York is married to his wife, Audra. They have two children, Richard (19) and Skylar (18).

Tim has exceptional knowledge and experience in the field and is definitely one of our key service advisors.

 

If you can only pick one colleague to take on a trip with to Cancun, who would you take and why?  – Chris, one of our technicians. He knows how to have a good time and he is super chill. 

What is your spirit animal and why?  – Bull, strong like Bull. LOL.


Who or where would you haunt if you were a ghost? – My mean old schoolteacher Mrs. McConnell.

 


If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?  – Pasta, when I was growing up, people said that I looked like Mario, from Mario Brothers. 


What is your favorite type of music?  – All, I enjoy all forms of music. I think every genre has bad, good, and great music. I have been known to get my glow sticks out from time to time. 


Cats or dogs?  – Dogs all the way. However, I have a special place in my heart for seaturtles. 


What makes you feel old?  – My knees, and when I realize my kids weren’t alive the last time the Cowboys won a super bowl. 

Favorite sport or team? – NY Yankees

Favorite vacation spot? – Hometown, Falconer NY. Time with my family. Also Pigeon Forge TN

What is the weirdest tradition your family has?- My wife every Halloween has a Pumpkin, Pizza and Dessert competition with the kids and I’m the Judge. I also dress up as Dumbledore, and scream you will not pass randomly every time the kids try to go to the bathroom. There have been some accidents. 


Cannon ball or jack knife? – Canon ball of course, however, recently I have been studying the art of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu. I believe I have mastered the Mount the Horse – Zuoma kick right before hitting the water. The wife said it’s a 9 and a half. 


Weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? – Gizzards. I also ate meat once. 


If everything in your house had to be one color what color would you choose? – Green…Pretty much because Derek my colleague was in the Army and I want to honor him by painting everything around me green. 


BBQ or Mexican Food? – Mexican


How many burgers is too many?  – Silly question, never too many. Have you met me? 


If you could talk to any animal which one would it be? – My dogs…they know things. 


What period would you go back in time to visit? – Western days. To ride the trails with Billy the Kid would be my dream. 


Would you rather have to give up permanently salts or sweets? – sweets.


Rollercoasters yes or no?  – Hell yes.


Do you collect anything? – Used to collect sports trading cards, not so much a collector anymore


What was your first job? – Factory assembly line. Putting wooden dowls in cabinet shelves at Bush Industry


Favorite dessert? – Chocolate Tres Leche


Who is the smartest person you know, besides Sean the marketing manager? – My Dad and then My Uncle and Mr. Bill is 2nd, behind Sean. 


Favorite holiday? –  Christmas, then Columbus Day.
