Matt Higgs is the Service Manager for our Fifth Gear Automotive shop in Lewisville, Texas.

He has worked in the industry for 19 years and has been with our Fifth Gear family for 2 years.

Matt’s the leader of our service team and is charged with maximizing our customer relationships by overseeing their experience. Matt works overtime to make sure that all our customers feel they received a 5-star experience and their car was serviced to the highest standards.

Originally from Flower Mound, Texas, Matt is a father to 3 kids.

He has twin boys that are in the 6th grade, and a daughter that is in the 1st grade.

What is your favorite type of music?

Texas country

Cats or dogs?

I’m definitely a dog guy!

What makes you feel old?

Having kids that are almost teenagers.

Favorite sport or team?

Texas Longhorns- Hook em! 

Favorite vacation spot?

I definitely prefer long walks on the beach, so any place in the world with a beach. 

Cannon ball or jack knife?

Belly flop, been working on my flops since I was 19. I almost have it perfected. 

Weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Escargot or Calf fries.

If everything in your house had to be one color, what color would you choose?

Grey!

BBQ or Mexican Food?

Mexican.

How many burgers are too many?

Never too many.

If you could talk to any animal which one would it be?

A Shark, just to know what is really down there.

 Would you rather have to give up permanently salts or sweets?

Sweets.

Rollercoasters yes or no?

Yes

What was your first job?

Lube Tech.

Favorite dessert?
